  • What Qualifications do the Staff hold?
    All Educators require a minimum of a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Each room has a Lead Qualified who holds a Diploma in Children’s Services or higher. All Educators have also successfully obtained a Working with Children’s Check and many hold formal certification in First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis.
  • What ages does Mulberry Tree cater for?
    At Mulberry Tree, we cater for children from six weeks to school age. We have many Long Day Care and Outside School Care Services across Perth and in Broome.
  • What type of meals do you provide? Do you cater for medical, dietary, and cultural needs?"
    Our meals are fresh, nutritious, and diverse. Mealtimes are a great social experience where children can sit together and converse as they share food. We have qualified cooks who prepare the children’s meals daily, using the best fresh produce we can source. Our menus are not only delicious and nutritious but are also based on additive and preservative aware ingredients. Our Additive Smart menus are endorsed by Julie Eady, author of the book Additive Alert. Our Centres cater for any individual dietary requirements by offering an alternate snack/meal. Please speak to the Centre Manager on enrolment about any allergies, intolerances and/or special dietary requirements so that action and communication plans can be completed. Please also be aware that all of our centres are a nut free zone.
  • What do I need to bring in each day?
    To ensure your child can participate in all the fun and exciting experiences, please consider that they are wearing suitable and comfortable clothes. We encourage children to bring along a school bag on each day of attendance, which contains all their personal possessions that should be clearly labelled. This should include the following: A Drink Bottle and any Bottles required for feeding A tin of unopened formula as needed A comfortable Hat, Additional Changes of clothes, shoes and socks. Nappies. For children requiring support and assistance with toilet training, we encourage families to bring nappies (disposable or other) and extra changes of clothes A piece of fruit to share for morning tea All children sleep in a cot or on one of our stretcher beds for any sleep required during the day. We have bedding for the cots and beds that can be purchased on enrollment and added to your account.
  • What is Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and am I entitled to it?
    Child Care Subsidy is a Government Rebate that helps covers the cost of childcare for most families. (CCS) is available at our services and The Child Care Subsidy will only be applied to your fees once you have confirmed the enrolment at our service and the booking schedule through your My Gov account.
